Why Romania?

On macro-economic situation worldwide, we crossed the factors necessary to predict a safe investment, high efficiency, the answer was: Romania and, in particular, Oradea. We evaluated: political stability, the country risk, general economic situation, in accordance with:

  • From 01.01.007 Romania became part of a European Union, making it safer, but speculative;
  • Income tax is 16% and VAT is 24%;
  • Non tax on reinvested profit;
  • Forecast for adopting the single currency by 2014;
  • Area of great attention to the contributions of European funding;
  • Wages are rising, offering a projection of a general increase in prices;
  • Location: Romania is the European gateway to the west;
  • There are more than 19,000 foreign companies operating in Romania;
  • There was a highly re-evaluation of property, but there is still enough room for growth;
  • Many large companies are interested in Romania (e.g.: Pirelli invests 150 millions Euros for a new installation; Enel will invest 300 million Euros in energy supply; Pepsi invests 150 million Euros for a new plant);
  • GDP in 2005 was 4,2; then 7.9 in 2006; in 2007 - 6.0, while in 2008 GDP reached 8,2;
  • The inflation rate decreased from 22,5% in 2003 to 6,6% in 2008;2010 7,96%
  • Romanian Government is involved and offers substantial anti-crisis measures, and these measures are implemented;
  • Unlike the past, are facilitated housing loans, and interest rates are declining;
  • Infrastructure consists of roads, railways, airports etc., but these are insufficient and in progress;
  • Transforming the agricultural sector is in process, thus increasing interest in the European Community to support this sector, given the special location, the present-day resources and the economic results obtained, and economic development programs already in place, Romania will be among the first nations to benefit from global economic recovery.

Further, why we have chosen to place our operational headquarters in Oradea ?

  • It is a city with an average of 220,000 inhabitants;
  • It is one of the most prosperous cities in Romania;
  • It has got a certain strategic position;
  • The town is near the Hungarian border and will be reached by the highway already under construction that will link Kiev to Bucharest, thus achieving a higher commercial interest;
  • One of the most important resorts in Romania (Băile Felix – Felix Spa) is situated quite near Oradea, therefore Oradea wields also a strong attraction for tourists;
  • Unemployment rate is of 6,0%, significantly lower than the average rate on Romania;
  • Currently, Oradea produces 63% out of Bihor GDP, with only 34,5% out of Bihor population, value of land and building is increasing;
  • Evolution of the western Romania started in Timisoara, spread near the city of Arad, therefore it expands to Oradea and the surrounding areas;
  • There are already present various industries and small businesses, the most important are those involving the production of furniture, textiles and clothing, footwear, food and IT.
